The Melbourne Rudolf Steiner Seminar Ltd offers a range of programs based upon the work of Rudolf Steiner. It is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO#3984) approved to deliver its courses to both local and international students (CRICOS# 01812M).

The Seminar's courses are focused on providing training and further education for anyone interested in the education given by Rudolf Steiner and Anthroposophy.

The Seminar has been conducting courses for 42 years for local and international students and is a member of Steiner Education Australia, the national association of Steiner education providers.

We are a fully government accredited and nationally recognised training centre, offering a full-time course, the Advanced Diploma of Rudolf Steiner Education, (Course code 69801 CRICOS code 071548J) as well as part-time certificate courses and professional development programs.

The Advanced Diploma of Rudolf Steiner Education is a two year full time accredited certificate qualification.  It provides a pathway to a university Bachelor of Education, which upon completion, qualifies graduates to teach in Australian schools (both in government, independent and Steiner schools).   

Steiner Education is the most rapidly expanding education in the world, with five Steiner streams integrated into Victorian State schools and 40 independent schools throughout Australia.

There is a great demand for Steiner trained teachers. Graduates find employment in early childhood settings, primary and secondary schools and with children with special needs.

We are an approved VET FEE-Help provider for local students, who in addition, may be eligible for Austudy. This is a scheme which assists eligible, full fee-paying local students to pay for all or part of the course fees.  Over a student’s lifetime they may borrow through VET FEE-HELP and FEE-HELP, an amount up to the FEE-HELP limit to pay their tuition fees. VET FEE-HELP debts become a part of an individual’s accumulated HELP debt. Click here for further information.
