The Melbourne Rudolf Steiner Seminar is an endorsed provider to international students for the full-time Advanced Diploma course. The Seminar has welcomed students from the UK, Europe, South Africa, United States, Bhutan, Japan, South Asia, and South America for over 15 years.

Past students have returned to their countries and applied the qualification and experience gained here in a variety of ways. These include teaching, early childhood education, and providing education support for children with added needs.

International students have contributed enormously, in rich and enduring ways to our teaching and learning here at the Seminar. They have expanded themselves by coming to Australia to undertake their study in Rudolf Steiner education, and have similarly brought great depth and experience to students and staff in Australia.

Why study in Melbourne at the Melbourne Rudolf Steiner Seminar?

The Melbourne Rudolf Steiner Seminar has provided education and training in Rudolf Steiner education for over 42 years. It is a well recognised provider in the field of Anthroposophical study; Seminar staff are regular contributors to workshops and conferences around the world.

Testimonials from past and current international students tell us that they enjoy living in Australia, exploring a new landscape and culture, and making friendships. The course is stimulating and enables students to return to their home countries well equipped to further their professional and personal lives.

Support for students.

The Seminar provides orientation support with settling in, practical assistance with finding accommodation, study and personal support to International students, to ensure they get the most out of their studies and their broader Australian experience. See the International Student Information Handbook and the Seminar Handbook.

For further details including availability of accommodation and fees for overseas students, please contact us: office@steinerseminar.com .

Location.

The Seminar’s courses are offered at The Michael Centre, located in Warranwood in Melbourne's outer eastern region, approximately thirty minutes drive from the Melbourne central business district. The teaching practicum, where students gain practical experience in teaching and observing teachers, takes place off site in Steiner schools in Victoria and where relevant, interstate.

It is close to the beautiful Yarra Valley country, renowned for its vineyards and scenery and in close proximity to Warrandyte with its craft shops/restaurants and Yarra river. It is serviced by public transport.

Melbourne is an exciting city in which to live and study, with many wonderful food markets, restaurants, parks and gardens, bayside activities, art galleries, theatre and music.
